Why we exist

Most young people choose a direction for their career long before they've had a real conversation with someone doing that job. Mission Mentorship closes that gap. We connect students with mentors working in the fields they're curious about, so exploration happens before commitment - not after.

How it works

Our story

As the child of immigrants, I didn't have the professional connections that many of my premed classmates took for granted - even finding a physician to shadow or write a letter of recommendation felt like an uphill climb. A college professor who believed in me changed that, introducing me to a primary care physician who gave me my first real look inside the profession, and the mentors I found in medical school and residency shaped me from there. I started Mission Mentorship Inc. because I know how many students have the drive and the talent but not the network - and how much difference one person willing to open a door can make. That's the belief our organization is built on: that mentorship shouldn't be a matter of luck, and that every student deserves someone in their corner who's already walked the path.
